Yessenia Godoy entered into God’s Kingdom on December 31, 2024 at the age of 43. Yessenia was born to Braulio Jr and Guadalupe Godoy on April 11, 1981 in Santa Ana, California. 

Yessenia loved sharing the love of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, with as many people as possible. She loved worshiping the Lord not only on Sundays at the altar but also at the park on those rainy days. She loved dancing in the rain. She was loving and kind and took care of others. She always made time for her family and friends. She brought joy and laughter to many with the things she will say or the silly things she will do. Yessenia loved Disneyland and collecting Loungefly backpacks and purses. She enjoyed traveling to local places to try new food. She enjoyed spending time fishing with her fiancé. 

Now that Yessenia has passed into the arms of our Lord, we should remind ourselves that while this is the end of Yessenia’s physical life on Earth, it’s the beginning of an eternal and beautiful journey for her. Yessenia joins her parents in Heaven. She is survived by many loving family members, including her fiancé Javier Oseguera, her brother, Juan Godoy, her sister, Yaneth Godoy, her nieces and nephew Cecelia, Julius and Leila; and her many cousins, uncles, aunts,  nieces and nephews.
