Phillip R Orloff "Phil" Orloff, born September 1, 1929, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, passed away on January 21, 2025, in Denver, Colorado, at the age of 95. Phil was preceeded in death by his parents, Paul Alexander Orloff and Martha Lydia Orloff, his sisters- Dorothy, Pauline and Laura, his brother Daniel, and his wife of 65 Years- Norma. Phil is survived by his two sons- Timothy Orloff and Steven (Jan) Orloff, Granddaughter- Krista Orloff, Grandsons- Andrew Orloff, Matthew Orloff, Phillip (Megan) Orloff, Jonathan Orloff, Adam (Lauren) Orloff, Great Grandson-Hunter Thomas, Great Granddaughters-Lydia Orloff, Eleanor Orloff, and numerous Nephews, Nieces and Cousins.
Phil enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1948 and served until his honorable discharge in August 1952. During his service during the Korean Conflict, he was stationed at air bases in Germany and Japan, where he worked as a machinist crafting jet engine blade, among other service-related products. Later, while stationed at Hill Air Force Base in Utah, Phil met Norma Jean Lund. They fell in Love and married on January 26, 1952, in Bountiful, Utah, and shared nearly 65 years of marriage before Norma's passing January 22, 2017. Together, they raised two sons-Timothy (1955) and Steven (1958).
Phil's professional career was in Machining and Tool-and- Die making. In the 1970's, he established and taught the Tool & Die trade school program at Warren Tech Center in Lakewood, Colorado. He later founded his own companies- Orloff Engineering and Swiss Connection- Specializing in machine work and Plastic injection molding for a variety of products.
In 1964 they moved to the home they shared for 53 years in the Foothills West of Denver. There, Phil and Norma embraced rural life with horses and enjoyed a working retirement.
They traveled extensively in their RV's and cherished time spent with family and friends. A classic Studebaker car enthusiast, Phil restored cars and showcased them at events. Above all else, Phil and Norma devoted their lives to Loving and Serving the Lord Jesus Christ.
Phil and Norma greatly desired that all men would believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, for salvation and eternal life, as promised in God's word. Eph 2:8-9 (NIV)For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith, and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God, not by works, so that no one can boast.
