Alexandria Maude Manning (Taylor) Carr
Alexandria known as Allie or Lexi to family and friends passed quietly surrounded by her family on January 15 2025 at Suncoast Mid Pinellas Hospice in Pinellas Park FL.
Alexandria grew up in Yonkers, NY until she was 12 and then moved with her family to Narrowsburg NY. She graduated from Narrowsburg Central School in 1997. Alexandria attended Howard University in Washington DC and Marymount Manhattan in NYC. She predeceased by a daughter Olivia M Carr.
Alexandria was a fierce defender of the disenfranchised, defenseless or downtrodden peoples of the world. As one family stated “every time we use our voice, stand up for ourselves or others and rebel against the machine it will be because she is there holding us up to do so.” Alexandria leaves behind a devoted husband, George Carr, III and a loving son, George Carr IV; Her parents Kevin and Chyrise Taylor, her mother-in-law Karen Thompkins, her father-in-law George Carr, Jr.; siblings brother Kevin Taylor and his partner Megan, sister Elizabeth Taylor, sister Jessica Isenhart and her husband Adam, Sister in law Shannon and her husband Cameron, sister Addie Bryda and her husband Thomas; Nieces and Nephews Gabriella, Ethan, Jackson, Elijah, Emery and Malcolm; And a multitude of loving aunts, uncles cousins and dear friends.
