Domenick A. Carrero, 95, of Oak Valley, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 20, 2025.
Legacy
He was a loving and caring father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He loved to be around his family, especially his grandchildren. Domenick also loved coaching his children and helping with the Oak Valley little league Association. He was a proud member of the United States Army, serving during the Korean War with the 8th Army-538 Ordinance Division. He retired after working 36 years with PECO.
Family
He is the beloved husband of 65 loving years to the late Madeline "Tina" Carrero (nee Annunziato). Devoted father of Stephen Carrero (Debbie), Lisa Carrero (Baron), Anthony Carrero (Kim) and Victor Carrero (Melissa); cherished grandfather of 10 grandchildren and adored great grandfather of 18 great grandchildren; dear brother of Ritamarie (Frankie).
Farewell Tribute
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Tuesday, January 28th from 10:00AM to 10:45AM at Infant Jesus Parish at St. Margaret's Church 3rd & Beech Street, Woodbury Hts., NJ 08097. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00AM. Interment to follow at the Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown, NJ. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Gloucester County Veterans Advisory Council, PO Box 337, Woodbury, NJ 08096 (Memo: Cemetery Fund).
