Healey Mortuary
Thomas B. White, Sr.
August 18th, 1933 - January 19th, 2025
In Loving Memory
On January 19, 2025, Thomas Ben White passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones. He joins his wife, Barbara White.
He is survived by 5 children, Tom, Regina, Kate, Les and Connie. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sharon and grandson, Jeffrey.
Ha had numerous grandkids, great grandkids, and great great grandkids, 19 total.
Ben was a roofer for many, many years and loved it.
When his wife became ill he cared for her for 10 years, best nurse ever. Ben loved to fish. He and Tom would hit the lakes almost every weekend. When he could not fish anymore he missed it so very much. When he gets to Heaven he'll get mom to fish with him.
Dad always like to keep busy, always finding something to do.
He was a great husband, father and grandfather to us all. He will be missed so very much by all his friends and family.
At his request he does not want a memorial service. The family will have a gathering in May or June to celebrate his life. We will post date, time and location later.

We Entrusted Thomas White's Care To
Healey Mortuary
At Healey, we treat our Salinas Valley community members like family. Our story begins after World War II when Veteran Herbert C. Healey hoped to find a way to continue to meaningfully help his county and community grow. He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area. Their lifelong mission was to unselfishly serve area families based on their strong, trusting relationship with their community – something we honor to this day almost seven decades years later....
