Alan Amerman, age 78, of Oregon City, passed away on January 20, 2025, surrounded by his family. Born in Montana on May 9, 1946, Alan was raised in Oregon. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps for four years before dedicating 20 years of his life working at Willamette National Cemetery.
A lifelong lover of antiques and a collector of all things, Alan had an eye for history and a passion for preserving the past. Above all, he was a devoted Christian who shared the love of Jesus with everyone he met, often reminding others that “Jesus loves you.” His faith and kindness left a lasting impact on all who knew him.
Alan was married to his beloved wife, Delynn, for over 43 years, building a life full of love, laughter, and memories. He is also survived by his two daughters, Jaime and Jessica, and his four cherished grandchildren: Nicholas, Payton, Alexis, and Molly.
He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandpa whose legacy of devotion, kindness, and faith will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
A celebration of Alan’s life will be held on May 10, 2025.
