La Sra.Dolores Ramírez, nacida el 21 de noviembre de 1953, falleció inesperadamente el 8 de enero de 2025. Se fué al cielo serenamente y rodeada de su familia. Dolores nació en Ayotitlán, Jalisco y residió la mayoría de su vida en Salinas California. Le precedieron en la muerte su esposo Celerino Ramírez Sr. y sus padres Agustina Rodriguez y Felix Ramirez. “Lola”, como la apodaban, era una madre devota, abuela, hermana, tía y una querida amiga para muchos. Le sobreviven su hijo Celerino Bartolo Ramirez, su nuera y sus tres nietas.
Extrañaremos mucho a Lola, pero no la olvidaremos. Su amabilidad y su buen sentido del humor tocaron las vidas de muchos y será recordada con cariño. Sus numerosos amigos y familiares atesorarán los cálidos recuerdos creados con ella en reuniones y celebraciones familiares. La puerta de su casa siempre estaba abierta para cualquiera que necesitara un oído atento, algo de compañía o simplemente unas buenas risas. Por eso, Lola dejó una huella especial en el corazón de muchas generaciones de quienes la conocieron. Luego de jubilarse del trabajo en el campo, Lola dedicó su tiempo a cuidar de su jardín, cuidar su hogar, proyectos de costura y cuidar de su familia.
Para honrar la vida de Lola Ramírez, se llevarán a cabo velorios y un rosario en Healey Mortuary and Crematory, 405 N. Sanborn Road, Salinas, Ca 93905. El velorio se llevará a cabo el miércoles 29 de enero de 1:00 a 8:00 p.m. La misa se llevará a cabo el jueves 30 de enero en la Iglesia Cristo Rey, 240 Calle Cebu, Salinas, CA 93901 a las 10:00 am, seguida por el entierro en el Cementerio Queen of Heaven en 18200 Damian Way, Prunedale Ca 93907.
Dolores Ramirez, born on November 21,1953 passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully on January 8, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Dolores was born in Ayotitlán, Jalisco and was a lifetime resident of Salinas California. She is preceded in death by her husband Celerino Ramirez Sr., and her parents Agustina Rodrigues and Felix Ramirez. “Lola”, as she was nicknamed, was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and a dear friend to many. She is survived by her son Celerino Bartolo Ramirez, her daughter-in law and three granddaughters.
Lola will be greatly missed but not forgotten. Her kindness and humorous nature touched the lives of many, and she will be remembered fondly. Her numerous friends and family will cherish warm memories created with her at family gatherings and celebrations. The door to her home was always open to anyone who needed a listening ear, some company or just a good laugh. Because of this, Lola left a special mark in the hearts of many generations amongst those who knew her. After retiring from working in the fields, Lola dedicated her time to tending to her garden, caring for her home, sewing projects and taking care of her family.
To honor the life of Lola Ramirez, visitations and a rosary will be held at Healey Mortuary and Crematory, 405 N. Sanborn Road, Salinas, Ca 93905. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 29th from 1:00 - 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, January 30th at Cristo Rey Church, 240 Calle Cebu, Salinas, CA 93901 at 10:00 am., followed by burial at Queen of Heaven Cemetery on 18200 Damian Way, Prunedale, Ca 93907.

Healey hoped to find a way to continue to meaningfully help his county and community grow. He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area. Their lifelong mission was to unselfishly serve area families based on their strong, trusting relationship with their community – something we honor to this day almost seven decades years later....
