Betty Paiz

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Betty Ann Paiz. A beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt. Betty passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, January 14, 2025. Betty was born on May 18, 1961 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. 

Betty will forever be in our hearts and she will always be remembered as being a loving and caring person. She loved being around close family and friends. She was a kind and generous person to all who knew her. Although she is greatly missed, she is watching over us from heaven.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ramon Sanchez and Lucille Griego. She is survived by her children, Christy Sanchez, Bobby Sanchez, Johnny Sanchez and wife Valerie Sanchez. Six grandchildren, Shaylene, Miguel, Jason, Anthony, Alyna and Hailey. Two great-grandchildren, Michael and Johnathan. She is also survived by her four sisters, KatherineAnzures and husband Larry, Liz Eccher and husband Barry, Gloria Lucero and husband Bud, Merlinda Romero and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025 at 9am at Holy Family Church (562 Atrisco Dr SW, Albuquerque, NM 87105). Reception to follow at Valle De Luna Event Center (5401 Central Ave NW, Ste A, Albuquerque, NM 87105).
