Mark Wilson Fay
December 29th, 1947 - January 21st, 2025
Mark Wilson Fay, 77, died January 21, 2025. Born December 29, 1947 in Syracuse, he was the son of the late John and Mildred (Young) Fay. Mark was a graduate of Onondaga Valley Academy and served in the US Navy. He worked all his life at various collision repair shops, beginning while in his senior year of high school, at the local Studebaker dealer. Through the years, he taught his trade to many of the young men that he worked with. Along with his late wife, Dolores, he was active with religious related and social outreach projects. He was a resident of Nedrow since 1981 and was a member of the Amboy Belle Isle United Church.
He was predeceased by his wife, Dolores (Purcell) Fay and brothers, Robert and Lawrence Fay.
Mark is survived by his son, Theodore Fay (Katie Rimkevitz); companion, Deboraha Masullo-Hooge; grandsons, Jason, Ayden, Ty, Theodore and Avery; granddaughter, Hazel; great-granddaughter, Iris Rose; brother, John Fay and sister-in-law, Kathleen Dunster.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday, January 29th from 10AM to 12PM at Ballweg and Lunsford Funeral Home, 4612 S. Salina St. Syracuse. A celebration of life will follow at 12:30PM at Amboy Belle Isle United Church.
