Billie Jeanne Jackson
December 11th, 1947 - January 18th, 2025
Billie Jeanne Jackson, 77, of Loveland gained her wings on January 18th, surrounded by her loving family. Billie grew up in Golden, CO, where she and Larry began their journey as high school sweethearts. She was always by his side, ready for any adventure that came their way. The couple loved dancing together, especially enjoying the lively beats of disco. They also enjoyed years of bowling, where Billie received her nickname "Gunner."
Most of Billie’s life, she was a stay-at-home mom and wife, fulfilling what many consider the hardest career around. She also worked part-time out of the home for her husband Larry at Coors in the early nineties and continued off and on in Johnstown after the family moved to Loveland, CO.
She was an extraordinary cook, always delighted in hosting family and friends, and had an open-door policy, where everyone was always welcome and treated as family. Everyone adored Billie. Her kindness and big heart showered love upon all.
Billie enjoyed reading, puzzles, shopping, cards, and crafting. She took immense pride in her home, loved decorating, and always ensured that her hair was perfect. Billie was ever-present at her grandson Trever's school activities and sports events, earning the title of "Bama" from all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren who cherished her dearly.
After the passing of the love of her life, Larry Dean Jackson, Billie became a remarkably independent woman. She was the strongest and most courageous woman her family ever knew, and they were immensely proud of her.
Despite a long and tough health journey, including years of dialysis, Billie fought every day for life, never wanting to give up and leave her beloved family.
Billie was survived by her son Greg Jackson (Sara) of Berthoud; daughter Terri Niesent (Tim, aka Louie) of Loveland; brother Tim Anderson (Nancy) of Windsor; grandchildren Trever Jackson, Courtney Whitt (Travis), Seth Niesent (Stefanie); and great-grandchildren Adilynn, Finley, Sloane, and Isla. She is preceded in death by her husband Larry Jackson, her mother Annabelle Anderson (Mayberry), her father William Anderson, and her sisters Judy and Joyce.
Her legacy of love, resilience, and generosity will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
Following a private grave-side service, Billie’s family would invite you to join them to celebrate her life on February 7th, 2025, from 2:00~5:00pm at Berthoud Brewery, 1480 Cascade Ave., Loveland, CO.
