Sandra "Sandi" Connie Zimmerman

Sandra (Sandi) Connie Zimmerman (age 67)Passed away at her home on January 22nd, 2025 after a very long yet courageous heath battle with her loving daughter by her side. Sandi was born on May 10th, 1957 in white bear lake MN and raised with her six siblings in Hugo MN. Sandi is proceeded in death by her beloved daughter Lacey Zimmerman, father Theodore Peltier, sisters Dannie Peltier and Valerie Davidson. Survived by her Daughter Jenna Johnson, son-in-law Justin Johnson, two very special Grandchildren Makayla Tollefson (Michael) and Presley Johnson. Mother Connie Johnson, Wesley Johnson “pops” siblings Nicole Peltier, Melodie Thorp and Peter Peltier. Also, many nieces nephews and too many wonderful friends to mention. Sandi was a huge Minnesota Vikings fan and in her younger days she loved to play softball, she then became an amazing dart player. The majority of her career was spent bartending at the old “red rooster” in Maplewood MN. She also had a great love for cookies, McDonald’s cheeseburgers and strawberry shakes. Sandi’s pride and joy is and will always be her family. Her two grandchildren always gave her the biggest smile. Our family would also like to express our deepest gratitude and thanks to white pine of cottage Grove MN. For loving her and taking such great care of her until her final day. Sandi will be greatly missed for her generosity, humor, kindness, strength and so much sass! We know she is now dancing under the stars with her baby girl in heaven. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at Sandberg Funeral and Cremation Services from 1:00PM until 4:00PM with a Memorial Service being held at 2:00PM with Rev. Amy Riesenberg officiating.
