Leslee Joan McAlevy
Leslee Joan McAlevy passed away on January 16, 2025 at the age of 77 in Tucson Arizona. She was born August 22, 1947 to the late Beatrice Herron (Dominiak) and the late Leslie Herron.
She was attending Grand Valley State College when she met her husband, Jay K McAlevy. They wed on February 3, 1968 and moved to Tucson Arizona in the Summer 1968. They had three daughters: Kelly, Kathleen, and Krista.
Leslee was predeceased by her oldest daughter Kelly. Leslee is survived by her husband (Jay), her daughters, (Kathleen Biggie and Krista Braun), her sister (Susan Jaworowicz), and seven grandchildren.
Leslee was a homemaker that loved knitting, crocheting and sewing. She also received a master’s degree in Cross Cultural Communications, and taught Spanish at Simpson College in Redding California. She cared about people and would always help when she could.
The Celebration of Life will be at Congregation Beth Sar Shalom, 5455 S Westover Ave, Tucson, AZ 85746 on February 16th at 1:30 PM.
