It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rachel Ann Andros, our precious mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She went to heaven on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at the age of 82 in Tucson, Arizona. Born on August 14, 1942 in Los Angeles, California.
A devoted care giver, Rachel dedicated her life to her family and those around her. She brought joy to everyone she met, her selflessness and generosity was evident in everything she did.
She loved art, decor, decorating, quilts, pretty bedding, knitting, sewing, crocheting, arts & crafts, coloring, card games, Solitaire, thrifting, Luis Miguel, Michael Buble, Nat King Cole, Johnny Mathis, concerts, musicals, snacks & sweet treats, especially popcorn and chocolate!
Rachel was the heart of our family. She was the sweetest, bestest mom and gramma in the whole wide world! Her smile, generosity, kindness, sense of humor and contagious laugh will be treasured always and forever. Her love and light will remain eternal, shining brightly in the hearts of all who knew her. Her unwavering spirit of selfless love and boundless joy will continue to inspire and uplift us.
Rachel is survived by her only child and beloved daughter, Leslie Andros, her cherished granddaughters, Aubriana “Aubrie” Rogan, Trinity Rogan and Elyse “Nina” Rogan, and her dear siblings Edward Negrete, Jr, George Negrete, Gloria Alvarez, Mary Bates, Carmen Doyle, and Christine Sarvis. She is reunited in heaven with her mother, Lucy Negrete, her sister Cecilia Kolodziej and her nephew Tony Kolodziej.
A celebration of Rachel’s life will be held on Tuesday February 04, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Brings Broadway Chapel located at 6910 East Broadway Blvd, Tucson, Arizona. Family and friends are invited to honor her legacy, and celebrate a life well lived. Visitation: 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Funeral Service: 12:00 PM - 12:45 PM. A reception lunch will be provided immediately following the service at Brings Broadway Chapel.
For those asking, flowers can be delivered to Brings Broadway Chapel on Monday February 03, 2025, or Tuesday February 04, 2025 before 10:00 AM. Financial gifts are not expected, but greatly appreciated and can be sent via Venmo: @Leslie-Andros.
