Bess Curry Gott passed away 601 E Brannon Rd, Nicholasville, KY 40356 on January 25, 2025.  She was the widow of J.B. Gott.  Born on September 24, 1929, in Lexington, Kentucky to the late Robert Lee Curry and Ida Calhoun Curry. She attended Lafayette High School and finished at Midway High School, Versailles in 1948.  Bess retired as a bookkeeper from Old Colony Insurance Agency, and was a member of Crestwood Christian Church. 

 

 She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda G. Sheeler and two granddaughters, Lynsay K. Gott of Louisville and Ashley D. Gott of Lexington.  She is also survived by a very special sister-in-law, Patti Curry as well as many nieces and nephews!  She was preceded in death by her husband and Lynn T. Gott and by brothers Jay, Lillard, Luther, Arthur and Ronald Curry; sisters Helen Mitchell and Lorene Brewer.

   

 Gathering of family and friends will be 11am-1pm at Clark Legacy Center – 601 East Brannon Rd, Nicholasville, KY 40356 followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 1pm.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Bluegrass Care Navigators.
