Julia Clark

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Julia Clark, age 81, on January 22, 2025. Julia, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at her home in Moncks Corner, South Carolina, surrounded by loved ones.

Julia was born in Somerville, NJ and raised in Montrose, PA. She moved to South Carolina later in life, where she spent her days surrounded by her family, whom she adored. Julia was a proud mother to two daughters and a son, and a cherished matriarch to an ever-growing family that included many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and even great-great-grandchildren. Her legacy will live on in all of them.

Retired, Julia spent her years traveling to see family and playing bingo. She never met a stranger and had a gift for making everyone feel like family. But it was her love for her children and grandchildren—her "babies"—that filled her heart most.

Julia is survived by her siblings— Jim (Wanda) Grick, Jack (Judy) Grick, Joan Poirier, and Andrew (Kim) Grick. Her children— Lori (Sam) Walls of Orange City, FL, Jeff (Teresa) Clark of Goose Creek, SC, and Andrea (Steve) McClung of Moncks Corner, SC. Along with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and many other loved ones. Her warmth, kindness, and unshakable spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

A service will be held to honor Julia’s life and memory.

Her Celebration of Life will be held on February 7th, 2025 at 2:00pm. This service will be held at Simplicity. The address is 281 Treeland dr. Suite C, Ladson, SC 29456.
