Edward Pohlreich, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on December 30, 2024, at the age of 86 in Auburn, WA. He was born on February 5, 1938, in Anselmo, Nebraska, to Leo and Rose Pohlreich.
Edward was a graduate of Sargent High School in Sargent, Nebraska. He served his country honorably in the United States Air Force for four years, before embarking on a successful career at Boeing. After 32 years of dedicated service, he retired in 1993.
In 1960, Edward met the love of his life, Nancy Bellamy, in Spokane, Washington. They were married on October 7, 1961, in Goldendale, WA, and together raised eight children.
Edward had many interests, including a love for garage sales, working on watches, and tinkering in his spare time. He was always eager to learn new things, fix old items, and share his knowledge with others.
He was preceded in death by his son, Edward Pohlreich, Jr., and his daughter, Mary Anne Pohlreich. Edward is survived by his loving wife, Nancy (Bellamy), his sons Paul Pohlreich, Rudolf Pohlreich, and Josef Pohlreich, his daughters Tina Sehrt (Pohlreich), Ruth Clemens, and Rebecca Tran, his sister Helen Buss, as well as 19 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
He will be cherished by his friends and family who will carry his memory in their hearts forever.
