It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jeannine Marie Miller McKinney, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend. Jean went to be with her Lord on January 19, 2025, at the age of 86.

A devoted follower of Jesus, Jean’s life was marked by love, kindness, and a deep faith. She shared her warmth with everyone she met, offering both treasures of the heart and gentle hugs that will be missed by all. Jean had a special gift for gardening, thrifting, and music. She could often be found humming or whistling a joyful tune, and if you were ever in a grocery store, all you had to do was follow the sweet sound of her whistle to find her.

Jean was a woman who cherished the little things in life, from cultivating beautiful gardens to singing her favorite songs. Her heart was full of love for her family and friends, and she was always ready to share a smile or lend a helping hand.

She is survived by her five children, TC “Teresa” Davis, Barbara Dieckhoff, Teresa Parrish, Brian McKinney, and Cynthia Cooper and their spouses. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, February 28, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Sunnyside Foursquare Church, located in Happy Valley, OR.
