Alberta Georgette Wicklund
September 6th, 1948 - January 27th, 2025
Alberta Georgette "Honey Girl" Wicklund passed away on January 27, 2025, at the age of 76, in Broomfield, Colorado.
She was born to Albert George Silva Sr and Berdine Mildred DeLima on September 6, 1948, in Honolulu, Hawaii.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Brenda Soares, and brothers, Albert Silva Jr. and Patrick Silva, she is survived by her sister, Tammy Awong, and brother, Charles Tindle.
Alberta leaves behind her daughters, Darnel Garcia and Trinidad Kruse (Brian), and her son, Robin Wicklund.
She was Grandmother to Kiri Hill (Michael), Taylor Little (Blake), Joshua Hee, Nicholas Smith Sr. (Kira), Dylan Kruse, Kiana Garcia, Haley Kruse (Isaiah), and Josiah Wicklund
She was Grandmother to Amaya Gager, Makaiya Patterson, Payton Hill, Maddax Hill, and Nicholas Smith Jr
She attended Kaimuki High School in Honolulu, Hawaii, and worked at Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Hawaii as a supervisor and waitress at Sunset Bar and Grill. In the later part of her life, she devoted herself to caring for her Grandchildren.
She was a talented chef in the kitchen, loved karaoke singing, and was a devoted Minnesota Vikings fan. She also had a passion for gatherings, watching her Grandchildren compete in sports, and great food.
She is known for her sense of humor, strength, consistency, and perseverance.
She is deeply loved, and we will forever carry her in our hearts.
Service info: The Memorial Service will be on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Aspen Mortuaries Arvada Chapel.
Alberta's final resting place will be in Hawaii. Her ashes will be spread at our family's favorite camping spot, Mokule'ia Beach.
