Denise Ann LaPeter, 61, of Las Vegas, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Born on September 19, 1963, in New York, Denise was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She was known for her kindness, compassion, and unwavering support of those around her.
Denise was a Benefits Director for the Culinary Health Fund, and touched many lives through her work. Her passion for travel, history, and good food was only matched by her warm smile, boisterous laugh, and caring nature. Whether sharing a story, planning an adventure, or simply offering a listening ear, Denise made an unforgettable impression on all who knew her.
She is survived by her cousins, nieces and nephews, brother as well as countless friends whose lives were enriched by her presence. Denise was pre-deceased by her parents John and Gloria LaPeter, and twin brother Donato.
A celebration of her life was held on January 26, 2025. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the ASPCA.
Denise will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
