Jerry Thomas Brown, 80, passed away on Monday, January 27, 2025, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. His daughter and grandson were by his side. He was born in Harrodsburg, Kentucky on April 24, 1944, to the late Hazel Sherrod and James William Brown. He was one of six siblings, including Donnie Brown, Gene Brown, Ann Brown Whiteneck, Frank Brown, and Judy Brown Wilson. Jerry was a home builder and owner of the J.T. Brown Construction company.

 

He has three daughters, Jennifer Brown, Sarah Hembree See (deceased) and Shay Slinker; two grandsons, Benjamin Holiday and Lucas Gibson, six granddaughters, Michaela Dawn Agee, Isabella Alexis See, Nikki McMullin, Anna Vorbeck, Jordan Tate and Isabella Slinker, and 6 great grandchildren. He is also survived by a very sweet cat named CC, who was his beloved companion.

 

Those who knew him will cherish their memories of his kindness and love.

 

He will be buried beside his mother and father at the Ebenezer Church of Christ cemetery following a private graveside ceremony.
