August 22nd, 1955 - January 26th, 2025
Barbara Mary Schenck, 69, of Fort Atkinson passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2025 surrounded by her loving family at her home. She was a warrior who battled cancer for over 5 years, and showed everyone the meaning of true strength.

Barb was employed at Jefferson County Bank for many years, followed by Jefferson Cold Storage, County City Credit Union, Morgan & Myers, Badger Press, and retired from Freedom Graphics. In her “spare time,” she worked on the hobby farm that she and Gary own, as well as tending to her large gardens.
Barb is survived her husband Gary, and children Jody Klein and Jason (Tammie) Schenck. She was extremely proud of her three grandchildren – Abby Klein, and Charlie and Katie Schenck. She is also survived by her siblings Tom (Margaret) Schroedl, John (Linda) Schroedl, Steve (Mary) Schroedl, Linda (Mark) Schopen, Andy Schroedl, and Debbie (Steve) Kinateder, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Margaret Schroedl, and brothers Jerome and William. She was also preceded in death by her son-in-law Dan Klein.
