A Life Tribute Funeral Care - Largo
A. David Taylor
August 18th, 1936 - January 28th, 2025
David Taylor, 88, of St Petersburg, passed away on January 28, 2024, at the Gulfside Health and Rehabilitation facility.
Born in Orlando, FL on August 18, 1936. David joined the Navy, graduated from the Florida University as an electric engineer and became a manager at Hewlett Packard until he took an early retirement to give himself to volunteer endeavors such as Prison Ministry, the Red Cross, Casa, and the fight against Human Trafficking.
David is survived by his spouse Yori Bertin Taylor, his children Katie Mortemore, Jennifer Taylor, and Eve Soulain and his step child Khena Kara. David was a solid believer, and he had a passion for water sports, sailing and meteorology. He was a quiet man but had a great love for people, especially the least privileged in our society. His quiet presence, his kindness and his dry humor will be missed by many.
The family and a few friends will gather at A Life Tribute Funeral Home in Largo for a memorial service on Tuesday, February 4th, 2025, at 1:00 pm.
Donations can be given to https://www.reststopministries.org, a ministry dedicated to the restoration of victims of sexual exploitation and human trafficking.
