John Earl Waters, 84, of Newberry, passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2025.

 

Mr. Waters was born on May 13, 1940 to the late John Bennie and Lillie Hawkins Waters. He was a man of God letting faith guide his life. 

 

He is survived by his wife, Betty Lou Aull Waters; daughter, Landy (Patrick) Gamble; grandchildren, Garrett and Rivi Gamble; sisters, Betty W. Schumpert and Frances W. Gresham Connelly; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by sisters, Dorothy W. Hawkins and Bennie Lou W. Shealy; and brothers, Frank and James Waters.

 

A celebration of life will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Restoration Outreach Church. Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the service.
