Versailles – Fred Faust Jr., 80, husband of Mary “Aggie” Donnell Faust, passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2025. He was born on May 3, 1944 to the late Fred Sr. and Minnie Frances Gatrell Faust. In addition to being an insurance agent for 59 years, he was a successful farmer. He had a passion for traveling and spending time outdoors with his beloved beagle hounds. He also cherished the many trips he took to judge and compete with his hounds.   

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Mary Routh Faust Shryock (Patrick), Versailles, Freddie Faust III, Versailles, Jason Wachter (Erica), Stamping Ground; and his grandchildren, Anna Routh, Lizzy and Maggie Shryock, Rachel Faust, and Olivia and Clay Wachter.  

Funeral Service will be held at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill with Bro. Bill Boldt and Gayle Faust officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00pm until the time of service on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at Lexington Cemetery. Serving as casketbearers will be Freddie Faust III, Jason Wachter, Patrick Shryock, Clay Wachter, Gayle Faust, and Wick Faust. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mt Vernon Baptist Church and Dystonia Medical Research Foundation.
