On February 1, 2025, Virginia "Ginny" O. Crumpton gracefully departed this world at the age of 95 in Marietta, Georgia. A celebration of Ginny's life will be held on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, with a graveside service at noon, where friends and family will gather to honor and remember her remarkable life at Magnolia Park Cemetery.
Born on November 20, 1928, in Rentz, Georgia, Ginny has left an indelible mark on all who knew her, remembered warmly for her kind, energetic, and considerate nature. In 1953, Ginny and Julius embarked on a rewarding journey by founding Crumpton Shoes, a cherished establishment within the community. Her dedication extended beyond business, as she actively engaged with the Warner Robins Chamber of Commerce and participated in all local Garden Clubs. A member of the First Baptist Church of Warner Robins, Ginny was a woman of faith, characterized by her spunky personality and elegant grace. She found joy in music and dancing, embodying the spirit of a truly classy lady.
Ginny was a loving family matriarch, preceded in death by her beloved husband, Julius Crumpton, her parents Zonnie and Etoilie Register, and her granddaughter Kimberley Malcom Reinerth. She is survived by her devoted children, Sandra Malcom and Mark Crumpton, along with his wife Colleen. Her legacy of love and compassion continues through her six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, whom she cherished deeply.
In lieu of flowers, the family graciously requests donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Warner Robins General Fund, reflecting Ginny's lifelong commitment to her community and faith.
Ginny's vibrant spirit and warm heart touched many lives, leaving behind a legacy of strength, kindness, and endless love that will be treasured by those who had the privilege of knowing her.
