                       A Godsent Woman

Janet Rae Howland passed away early in the evening of Friday January 24th, 2025.

Words can’t express the grief as many see her as a forever loving person. She was more than just a character who had love for everyone- a lion at heart as she came up quickly to her calling of the lord above. Janet loved nothing more than to be a mother to everyone. She grew up on a farm riding horses to school. A very kind heart deep down with eyes that lived through many stories to tell through her journey on this planet. She was known as a giver to many and forgiving anyone. There was not a moment she would waste sacrificing something for the ones she loved dearly. I, Ely (great grandchild) had fought many wars to stand by her side and take care of her because she so immensely the same for me as a child. It was my oath and purpose.

Janet was a fighter that could push through any Obstacle that stood in her way for someone's happiness or to find strength within herself and when someone was in a time of need. She cared for everyone with magnitudes of what surrounded her. A true woman that was sent here to serve a purpose of how much she unconditionally loved the best side of people. She cherished jewelry a lot and always looked good whenever she wanted to leave the house. Janet was always there and home to me. She worked in a cafeteria during her younger days and drove a school bus. She always enjoyed being around children, which gave her much joy in life. There is just no subject on how proud she was to be married to one man for 55 years, a mom, the grandma, and the great grandma and all the above, she was there to share family history with fulfilling memories within every photo album that she has gathered over her time. The divine presence of what having enough and wanting the best from her time.

She was a big fan of the outdoors, just being outside, car rides and travelling, cooking home-cooked meals and always on time when dinner was ready for the family. A very simple life kind of person. Nothing meant more to her than if everyone was OK. Janet Howland Was a hard-hitting loss and will be forever missed. She was always in pain so trying to know she's been blessed enough to rise above into a new beginning. Her presence will never leave our hearts to guide us to endure whatever is next. Thank you, Janet, for your love on this planet for the 84 years you've pushed.

God forever bless you Janet for being a best friend. We are truly blessed to have known you in every way that was good. You were a wonderful grandma we always loved being with you, as far as we can remember you were there to be our friend, to spoil a little with your grandchildren, in love a lot. That's why you mean so much. Keep living on.
