Christopher Michael Young (52) of Brooklyn, NY, born September 29th, 1972, unexpectedly passed away December 31st, 2024, from unknown causes. Born to Mickey Young and Johnnie Mae Dow, Christopher was a loving son, brother, and father of four. He grew up in Warner Robins, GA and graduated from Warner Robbins High School. After graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. ARMY in May of 1992 and served for 11 years. He was honorably discharged after two deployments and was awarded several medals and achievements. After Discharge he continued working at JBLM as a contracted employee for General Dynamics in Logistics.
Christopher was a character in that he loved to make people laugh. He had a personality that made a lasting impression that made you want to be around him. One of his biggest hobbies was gaming and he absolutely loved music; his favorite song being “Sailing” By Christopher Cross.
Christopher has left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him. He leaves behind his beloved mother, Johnnie Mae Haslem (LD), Karima Young (Kelvin), youngest sibling Nyesha Young, eldest daughter LaPorsche Rolland, Christopher
Young II (Luisa), Tyler Young and youngest Makala Taylor (Tim) along with a host of nieces, nephews, grandbabies, cousins and lifelong friends. He will be deeply missed but never, ever forgotten. “Gone too soon, but always cherished”
