John Terrone Jr, 81, of Ocala, Florida passed away February 2, 2025, at E.W. & Lucille Cates Hospice House. He was born on July 6, 1943, in Queens, New York to Giovanni Terrone and Hedwige Doroski. 

 

John enjoyed cooking, bowling, and clowning with the clown ministry at church. He was also his mother's son. 

 

He is survived by Joyce Terrone (Wife), Tabatha and Rick Smith (Daughter & Son-in-Law), Joseph and Stephanie Terrone (Son & Daughter-in-Law), Dakota Wade, Keegan, Terrone, Gabriella Smith (Grandkids), Katherine and Mel McKelvey (Sister & Brother-in-Law), and many nieces, nephews and cousins. 

 

He was preceded in death by Giovanni Terrone (Father), Hedwige Doroski (Mother), Godparents and many aunts & uncles. 

 

The family will receive friends for a Visitation at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Service - Ocala Chapel, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala, FL 34470 on Sunday, February 9, 2025, from 2-5pm. Funeral Services will be held at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 6455 SW Hwy 200, Ocala, FL 34476 on Monday, February 10, 2025, from 8:30-9:15 AM followed by a Committal Service at Florida National Cemetery Bushnell, Florida at 11:30 AM.
