July 24th, 1981 - January 28th, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Hasan Mustafa Davis, a beloved father, brother, uncle, and friend. Hasan’s kindness, humor, and warm spirit touched the lives of everyone who knew him.
A proud graduate of Corcoran High School, Hasan was pursuing his passion for cooking in culinary school, working hard to build a future for himself and his loved ones. His love for food was matched only by his love for laughter—Hasan had a way of bringing joy to any room, always ready with a joke, a smile, or a helping hand.
Hasan was known for his big heart and larger-than-life personality. He had a natural ability to make people feel welcome, and his friendships were deep and lasting. Whether through his humor, kindness, or unwavering support, he left an impact on those fortunate enough to know him.
He leaves behind his three beloved daughters, Alyvia Bishop, Aaliyah Davis and Karmela Davis; his four sisters, Charlene Williams, Ammenah Sledge (SC), Adrian Dotson (SC), Monica Dotson; his father Tommie Dotson; his aunt Vivloria Herring and Uncle Alfonso Davis; his nieces and nephews, cousins, and a countless number of friends who became family.
He was predeceased by his mother Corrine Davis and his brother Tommie Dotson.
His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
A celebration of Hasan’s life will be held at A. Dewitt Memorial Funeral home, 4612 South Salina Street, Syracuse NY 13205. Calling hours will be held from 11:00 am through 12:00 pm. on Friday, Feb. 7th. Followed by 12:00 pm service.
The family appreciates all prayers, love, and support during this difficult time.
