Carol Argus (née Thomack) passed away peacefully on January 31, 2025, at the age of 91. Born in Milwaukee, WI, to Louis and Elsie Thomack (née Osterloth), Carol had a deep love for gardening and all types of plants. She was a talented artist and a proud member of the Art League of Waukesha, finding joy in painting—especially on rocks. Her passion for creativity extended to collecting art supplies, always eager to explore new artistic endeavors.

Carol cherished life and the time spent with her family and friends. She is survived by her children, Sandy Manning, Deb (Arthur) Bailey-Murray, Dan (Linda) Argus, and Pam (Jeff) Schweitzer, along with 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Roland, parents Louis and Elsie, her sister Sharon Sulek, and her son-in-law Steve Manning.

The visitation for Carol is going to be held on Saturday April 12, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until the start of services at 11:30 a.m. at St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church 424 Hyde Park Ave, Waukesha, WI 53188.

Carol’s kindness, creativity, and love for life will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
