Jean Carol Longacre, born October 8, 1934, departed from this world on January 25, 2025. A gracious, sophisticated, lovely, and devoted mother of four. She is survived by two daughters, Kathren and Peggy; and youngest son, Richard; five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. As a U.S. Army officer's wife, she toasted diplomats and royalty in formal and casual situations from Germany to Taiwan. After a lifetime of giving to others first, Jean was finally able to finish her life on her own terms. She now joins her loving husband, Dave; eldest son, David; twin sister, Janet; and dearest mother and father, Enid and Clayton. Go with God.
