Never Too Busy to Smile

On December 12, 2024, Virginia L. Bull Hall, 88, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home. She had two sons,  Robert “Jerry” Hall(Jonathan Hill) and Rudy Hall, Jr., who predeceased her; a granddaughter, Sarah Nobles, and three great-grandchildren: Addison Sykes, Colt Sykes and Paisley Sykes, brother in-law Walter Tayman, nephew Danny Tayman(Debbie), and nieces Terry Burch(Frankie), Tammy Breitenbach(Mike), Karen Byers(Joe), and many great nieces and nephews.  Known as Louise and “Sis” to her family, she was born to the late Edith Magness Bull and James M. Virginia was born on April 7, 1936 in Forest Hill, MD and moved to Brandywine, MD as a young girl.  She graduated Valedictorian from Gwynn Park High School in 1954, and went to work as a secretary at the Department of Agriculture and later at Andrews Air Force base. She left work to stay at home with the boys and in December 1975, she returned to Andrews Air Force base, where she stayed until 1992 when she retired as an Administrative Assistant.  She enjoyed her retirement, always busy with some type of project but she most enjoyed spending her time outside, cultivating many different flowers and plants in her yard.
