Phoui Thayorath
November 5th, 1957 - January 30th, 2025
Phoui Thayorath, Belmont, NC lovingly known as “Mae Zap” passed away 01/30/25 surrounded by family, leaving behind a legacy of love, resilience, and generosity. She was the heart of her family. Married to her husband, Phousavath Thayorath, Phoui was also a devoted mother to their children Zap (Noui) Noy, Loon (Tawni) , and Joy, and cherished grandmother to Damien, Nathen, Alana, Casely, Khali, and Lennox.
Though she is no longer with us, her legacy lives on in the kindness, generosity, and love she instilled in those she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
