Julie Agnes Dancy, 95, died February 3, 2025. Julie was born October 30, 1929 in Crichton, WV to the late Joe and Lelia Gwinn Boggess.
Julie worked at Indialantic Elementary School for over 30 years and was the first woman head custodian in Brevard County. She was proud to be a coal miner’s daughter and an army wife of 61 years.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her two brothers, Charlie Boggess, George Boggess, and four sisters, Alma Osborne, Evelyn Riordan, Wilma Price, and Pauline Babcock. She is survived by her sister Clara Sparacia, two children, Craig (Wendy) and Cathy (John); four grandchildren, Amanda, Eric, Corina, Michael; and five great grandchildren, Haley, Navaeh, Autumn, Colton, and Sophia.
Private family Services will be held at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida on Monday, February 10th. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Julie’s name to Vitas Hospice, 4450 West Eau Gallie Blvd, 250, Melbourne, FL 32935.
