Stella McLaughlin

Stella McLaughlin (nee Eobbi), aged 76, of Woodbury, NJ on January 29, 2025.

Beloved wife of 55 years to Martin W. McLaughlin. Devoted mother of Martin McLaughlin II, Heather Southwick (Jesse), and Dana McLaughlin. Cherished grandmother of Liam McLaughlin, Jocelyn McLaughlin, and Maggie McLaughlin. Great grandmother of Alani McLaughlin. She is also survived by her brother Peter, sister Mary Kay, and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, Florindo & Catherine Eobbi(nee Walker), her sister Louise, and brother Michael. 

She was talkative, outgoing, and enjoyed all things colorful in life. She loved music and dancing, but baking was her passion. Her pumpkin pie, pound cake, and cookie trays were legendary. She was an amazing cook and left behind a great collection of family recipes to keep our traditions alive, including her meatballs once featured in a restaurant in Albany, NY. She was happiest when she was with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

A public visitation will be held Saturday, February 15th, 2025, starting at 10:00 AM with a service to begin promptly at 12:00 PM at McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury, NJ 08096. Interment will follow at the Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Williamstown NJ.
