Antonina "Nina" Rigby, born Trinca, peacefully left us on February 5th, 2025, in Alva, Florida. Born in Auburn, New York, on May 24th, 1927, Nina was a beloved presence in the lives of all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of joy, kindness, and laughter.

For over three decades, Nina was a fixture on Ft. Myers Beach as a realtor, owning and operating the well-loved Case-Rigby Realty. Her dedication to her work was only matched by her commitment to community service—serving as a past president of the Alva Garden Club, an active member with the Red Hat Ladies, and dedicating years as a hospice volunteer. Nina’s contributions to her community did not go unnoticed, as she shared not only her expertise but also her genuine warmth with everyone she encountered.

Nina’s zest for life extended beyond her career. Together with Clarence, her loving husband who predeceased her, she enjoyed traveling extensively. She cherished reading and watching old movies, passions that she lovingly passed on to her family. Baking pies and gardening were some of her favorite pastimes, usually accompanied by laughter and good company.

Her legacy continues through her deeply cherished family: her six children, Fran Rigby-Kolet, Sharon Rigby, Lee Rigby, Clarice Rigby-Fagin, Stanley Rigby, and Elaine Rigby-Smalley, as well as grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom will miss her dearly. Her family reflects her spirit of kindness and community—a true testament to her loving and nurturing nature.

A celebration of Nina's life will be held at Akin-Davis Funeral Home in Fort Myers, Florida, on February 12th, with a viewing from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, followed by a service at 11:00 AM. Nina will be laid to rest beside Clarence at Alva Cemetery, where her memory will continue to blossom among the flowers she so dearly loved.

In honor of Nina, remember to share a smile, lend a helping hand, and celebrate the small joys in life, just as she did every day. Her spirit, love, and laughter will forever echo in the hearts of those she touched.
