In Loving Memory
Sandra Jaime, 63 passed away Jan. 22, 2025 at Memorial Hospital in Salinas, Ca. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Aunt and Sister.She was a long-time resident of Gonzales, Ca where she attended and graduated from Gonzales High School. She also was a Teacher’s Aide for the Gonzales school district.Sandy worked many years at the CTF, Soledad Prison in the early 90’s, then later found her career at the USPS.Although she dedicated majority of her life to working hard just to provide a good life for her daughter and grandchildren, she did enjoy a good word search and crossword puzzle. On occasion when she was up for it, she loved to bake.She is survived by her only daughter Karyna Jaime Zaldivar (Andrew), her grandchildren Angelina, Anthony, Benjamin, Natalie, Gabe, Little Karyna, and Laylani, along with her great grandchildren Azraiah “Bubba” and another, Azaria, to be born this February, her brother Ben Jr Jamie and her nieces Vanessa Mendez, Cristina Jamie, her nephews, Eric Jaime and Isaac Jaime, and many great nephews.Sandy was preceded in death by her father and mother Benjamin and Margarita Jaime. Her sister Veronica Jaime and her uncle Joe Perez, her nephew Alti and his daughter Jazmyne Chavez, and her nephew Benjamin Anthony Jaime.Services will be held at the St. Theodore’s Catholic Church in Gonzales, Ca. Wednesday, Feb 12th. Will be the viewing from 4-6pm followed by the Rosary from 6-8pm. Thursday, Feb 13th with be the Funeral Mass at 10am followed by the burial at the Gonzales Cemetery.
