Samuel Earl Anderson 64, passed peacefully on February 2, 2025 after a brief stay at Lexington Medical Center.

He was born in Columbia, SC on July 19 1960. He resided most of his adult life in the South Congaree/Gaston area. 

He leaves behind his loving wife, Susan Clarice Anderson; his stepchildren, Michael Norton and Susan Cochran; three beautiful granddaughters, MacKenzie, Hailey, and Destiny Irvin; a sister, Nancy Holterback of Leesville, SC; and many sister in law's and a brother in law; amongst many niece's and nephew's. 

Sam was predeceased by his father, Earl Roy Anderson and his mother, Mary Evelyn (Evans) Anderson; a stepson, Spurgeon Eugene Norton; brother, Mike Shaffer; and sister, Sharon Yazebinski.

A special thanks to Charlene Tobias who would come and stay with Sam and Clarice for company and to help them out.

Sam had a love for deep sea fishing, turkey shoots and cooking for his loving wife. He was a kind, hard-working husband who loved his family deeply. He will surely be missed.
