Rachelle Lee Davis-Zachary

The family of Rachelle Lee Davis-Zachary is saddened to announce her passing on Monday, February 3, 2025, in Lodi, California. Rachelle was born on March 30, 1959, in Jackson, California, to the late John and Catherine Sheridan.

 She was a longtime resident of Camanche until her retirement, when she and her husband moved to Pioneer.

Throughout her early career, Rachelle provided an in-home daycare for many families, sharing her nurturing spirit with the children she cared for. She later worked at her brother's shop in the towing and automotive industry, where she continued to be a joyful and valued part of the team until her retirement in 2023. In both her careers, Rachelle was known for her infectious laugh and kind heart, touching the lives of all she worked with—customers and colleagues alike.

Rachelle was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend. Her warm presence and caring nature will be deeply missed by all who knew her.  Her laugh and joy for life was infectious. 

She is survived by her husband, William (Darryl) Zachary; her brother; niece; children; and grandchildren.

The family will hold a private gathering to celebrate her life. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to American Cancer Society www.donate.cancer.org.
