Carla Tschudy

On February 10, 2021, Carla †œPenny†� Tschudy passed peacefully away at the age of 91. Penny Tschudy was born on October 3, 1929, in Monroe, Wisconsin and lived the majority of her life in Westminster, Colorado. She was the beloved wife of Dr. Robert Tschudy who was a dentist at the Westminster Dental Arts Clinic and a member of the Hyland Hills Recreation Board, Tri-County Health Board and Open Space Board. Penny loved golfing at Hyland Hills golf course and was the President of the Hyland Hills Women†™s golf league and a member of the bridge club. She was proud of her holes in one on the Gold course #13, #16 and on the Blue course #5. She loved adventures and traveling to various countries. She was also passionate about her pets and loved animals. Penny devoted 15+ years to volunteering. She was one of the longest volunteers at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, CO and at the Arvada Center for Performing Arts. She was also on the Social Committee for the Broadland†™s during her residence in Broomfield, Colorado. She enjoyed her last years of life at Balfour Independent Living, where she made many new friends and took part in all the activities that were offered. Penny was predeceased by her husband Bob, brother Ed, and oldest son Jeffrey. She is survived by her three children: son Tom (wife Debbie) of Golden, Colorado, son Doug (wife Leanne) of Longview, Texas, daughter Michelle of Lafayette, Colorado, and grandchildren Chris and Laura. Penny was always resilient and a true fighter when it came to her health. The family is comforted because she had a strong faith in God.
