Kayla Lynn Rates born December 29 1983, age 41, passed on February 3rd 2025 in Greeley Colorado. Maiden name Kayla Lynn Montejano. Kayla was a kind, humble soul who could brighten up a room with her laughter and smile.
Despite many challenges, Kayla managed to find the good in life and encouraged others to do the same. Kayla loved being a grandmother to baby Jayla and enjoying spending time with her loved ones.
Kayla is survived by her mother Debra Tipp, brothers Juan Gomes and Jose Montejano. Daughter Anissa Montejano, granddaughter Jayla Montejano and two sons Ruben Montejano and Isaias Montejano. She’s also survived by several nieces and nephews including Dylan Montejano and Annabella Montejano.
Funeral services will be held on March 3rd 2025, 11am at Viegut Funeral Home in Loveland Colorado.
