Darrell Owen Wright, age 69, of Lincoln CA, passed away on January 9, 2025, from heart failure.
Darrell was born on October 20, 1955, in Sacramento, CA to Robert and June Wright.
After graduating from Bear Creek High School in Lakewood, CO, Darrell enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard and served as a radioman on the USCGC Dauntless from 1975-1979. Following his discharge, he received an A.A.S. degree in electronics technology from the Community College of Denver. Darrell worked in the telecommunications industry before moving to Lincoln to care for his beloved mother, June. While living in Lincoln, he also worked part-time for Safeway.
Darrell was survived by his mother June Wright of Lincoln CA, sister Jolene Wright (Georgia) of Eyota MN, brother Stuart Wright (Christine) of Wetmore CO, and niece Alexis Wright of Wetmore CO.
There are no events planned. Donations can be made to the ASPCA in his honor and his adored cat, Mariah.
