In Loving Memory of Ellen Krumrai
Ellen Krumrai, age 76, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on April 12, 1948, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, she was the cherished daughter of Albert and Elenore (née Pankau) Graf.Ellen’s life was one of love, dedication, and quiet strength. She graduated high school before marrying her soulmate, Clyde Krumrai, on August 2, 1975. Together, they built a beautiful life centered around family, raising their two children, Melissa and Christopher. While balancing the joys and responsibilities of motherhood, Ellen pursued her education and earned an associate’s degree in accounting—an accomplishment that reflected her determination and lifelong love of learning.Beyond her devotion to family, Ellen found joy in life’s simple and beautiful moments. She was an avid gardener, cultivating both plants and memories in her backyard. She enjoyed golf, traveling the world, and expressing her creativity through basket weaving. More than anything, she cherished time spent with family and friends, and her grandchildren, Mackenzie and Andrew, were the light of her life.Ellen’s warmth, kindness, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by her beloved husband of nearly 50 years, Clyde; her children, Melissa (Daniel) Frazier and Christopher Krumrai; her adored grandchildren, Mackenzie and Andrew Frazier; and her sister, Susan Klahn.She is reunited in eternal peace with her parents, Albert and Elenore, and her sisters, Diana Dettlaff and Mary Rymer.
A memorial Mass to honor and celebrate Ellen’s life will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025, at St. William Catholic Church (440 N. Moreland Blvd, Waukesha, WI 53188). Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, with Mass to follow at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Ellen’s memory.Ellen’s love, wisdom, and gentle spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Though she is gone, the impact of her kindness and the warmth of her love will never fade.
