Larry Keith “Fitz” Fitzpatrick, age 82, passed away on February 7, 2025 at home with his family.

Born in Anderson, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Walter Jackson Fitzpatrick and the late Mary Faith Pettit Fitzpatrick.

After graduating from high school and attending business college, he worked exclusively in the trucking industry for over fifty years. He spent 43 years with Southeastern Freight Lines as an OS&D clerk and customer service specialist in the Columbia service center. He was a long-time member of First Baptist of Lexington.

He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Margie Anderson Fitzpatrick; two children, Scott Fitzpatrick of Charleston, SC and Mark Fitzpatrick of Lexington, SC; a granddaughter Easton “Scooter” Fitzpatrick and great grandson Dominic “Boomer” Esmarian, both of Wilmington, NC; a brother Richard “Dick” Fitzpatrick(deceased) and his wife Regenia of Anderson, SC and their children, William and Liz. He also had four adopted siblings, Brenda, Donna, Ricky and Tony.

The family will receive visitors on Saturday, February 15, 2025 from 11:30 am until 12:30 pm at Woodridge Memorial Park. The Memorial service will follow in the Chapel of the memorial park with Paster Ralph Schneck officiating. Mr. Fitzpatrick will be buried following the Memorial service. Members of the Joy Life group at First Baptist of Lexington invites friends and family to share refreshments and fellowship with the family following the committal service. First Baptist of Lexington is located at 415 Barr Road, Lexington, SC and you can enter through the main office entrance.
