Thomas Kendall Kelly
April 13th, 1941 - February 8th, 2025
Thomas Kendall Kelly, 83, of Tampa, Florida passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2025. Born in Chicago, Illinois in 1941. He was preceded in death by his wife Elvea Kelly and parents, James and Edna Kelly. Thomas is survived by his three children, Marsha Kelly, David (Kim) Kelly and Janet (Michael) Shutt, his three grandchildren Megan Shutt, Kyle Kelly and Samuel Shutt, and sister, Susan (Alan) Butler .
Thomas had a rewarding career in Banking. When Thomas retired he enjoyed playing tennis, golf, volunteering at church and spending time with family and friends. Thomas was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed doing projects around the house and working outside. His family was his most prized possession and he always put their needs before his own. He was strong when he faced his diagnosis with Parkinson's Disease and never gave up. His attitude his whole life was PMA (Positive Mental Attitude) and always had a smile on his face. He was an inspiration to us all and he will be deeply missed by everyone whose life he touched.
The family will receive friends Thursday, February 13th, at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, 9724 Cross Creek Blvd, Tampa. The Visitation will be at 9am followed by a 10am Funeral Mass. He will be interred following the Funeral Mass at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 5233 118th Ave N., Clearwater.
