Barbara passed after a brief illness. Barbara was born and raised in Brooklyn NY where she spent most of her life until retiring to New Jersey where she was a longtime resident of Brighton Gardens of Saddle River. 

 

She was a graduate of Brooklyn College and was a teacher for a short time after. 

She was married then divorced and had 1 daughter Robin. Barbara was an avid reader and enjoyed swimming. She spent many summers at the Brighton Beach Baths. She didn't like games much except for Maj Jong and Bingo. She was a lover of felines having many over the years.

 

She is survived by her brother Edward, daughter Robin, DIL Maria and Maria's children. Jessica, Christopher and Nichole  

She had 4 ggrandchildren Hentry Jr, Amelia, Caiden and Cierra.
