Tricia Angelina Saccone-Vassello

Tricia Angelina Saccone, 36, of Ocala, Florida, formerly of West Palm Beach, Florida, passed away at her home on January 21, 2025. She was born on August 18, 1988 in Danville, Pennsylvania to her mother Patricia Saccone into a loving family.

Tricia graduated from Florida State College and attended Florida Atlantic University where she was passionate about her studies and work in philosophy and spiritualism.  She remained dedicated to these pursuits throughout her life and enjoyed sharing her journey with her friends and loved ones.  Tricia cherished time spent with family and loyal friends and truly valued personal connection with other people. She adored music and the performing arts and had volunteered at the Reilly Arts Center since moving to Ocala.  She was a fierce defender of civil rights for marginalized peoples and relished speaking her mind to anyone with an open ear. 

Tricia is preceded in death by her grandparents, Anthony and Mary Saccone, and her aunt, Linda Saccone.  She is survived by her mother, Patricia Angelina Saccone of Ocala, Florida; her brother, Scott Anthony Saccone, sister in-law Jennifer Saccone, her nephew, Alexander Saccone, uncle Robert (Kathy) Saccone, and several cousins. 

Tricia will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her. A Memorial Service will be held on February 22, 2025, at the Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, TimberRidge, 9695 SW 110th Street, Ocala, Florida 34481. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., with the service beginning at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Civil Liberties Union at https://action.aclu.org/give/now  or plant a memorial tree through the Arbor Day Foundation at https://shop.arborday.org/commemorative.
