Jose Savinano “Sam” “Leonardo”“Sambo” Espinoza 79
Went home to be with his Lord and Savior on February, 8th 2025. Born February, 4th 1946 in Romeo Colorado to Valentin and Francis Espinoza. He soon found his way to the big city of Pueblo Colorado where he also became the son to Alejandro and Jennie Espinoza. Lucky guy had two sets of parents whom he loved dearly.
Sam graduated Centennial high-school in Pueblo and made his way back to Romeo ( the Valley ) where he enjoyed time with his siblings whom he loved very much.
Here is where he met the love of his life Gloria Pacheco, and was married to her on the 30th of April 1965. He was blessed with 4 children Michael (Lucy) Espinoza, John Espinoza, Amanda Garcia, Samantha (Adam Brown) Trujillo.
Sam was a Jack of all trades, he worked as a ranch hand for V Heart, a Manager for Chief’s Texaco, and later owned an Automotive Shop with his oldest son called S&M Automotive, and later became the unofficial fixer upper man for Espy’s Wine and Spirits.
Sam loved fishing, hunting, playing horse shoes, gardening, and spending time doing all these things with his family. Sam made friends with everyone he met and had a joke to tell them. We are sure anyone who had the pleasure of knowing him has a story of the joy he brought.
