Daniel Boone Taylor Jr., 80, husband of Linda Tyson Taylor, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025. He was born in Louisville on September 19, 1944 to the late Daniel Boone Taylor Sr. and Sarah Cox Taylor. Daniel was a Pastor and Appliance Repairman. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and a member of North Frankfort Baptist Church. Daniel loved being out on the water, he enjoyed fishing, camping, and serving the Lord.  

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Pamela Renae Garrett (Tim); his stepchildren, Eddie James (Nikki) and Jessica Rodgers (Jarred); his sister, Lorine Lanter (Charlie); and his grandchildren, Ava James, Jax James, and Eleanor Rodgers.  

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Martine Dever, Jeanette Hatfield, and Lina Campbell.  

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at North Frankfort Baptist Church with Rev. David Smith officiating. Burial follow at Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers Tim Garrett, Todd Hatfield, Wesley Lanter, Eddie James, Jarred Rodgers, and Charlie Moore. Visitation will be held from 5:00pm until 8:00pm on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at North Frankfort Baptist Church. Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd is in charge of arrangements.
