Jeannette Patricia Eaddy
December 24th, 1947 - February 10th, 2025
Jeannette Patricia (Patty) Evancho-Eaddy passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025, at Cooper River Post Acute in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. She was 77 years old.
Ms. Eaddy had been a resident of South Carolina for over 50 years. She was born on December 24, 1947, in White Plains, New York, to the late John and Jeanette (Griffiths) Evancho. She graduated from Seabreeze High School in 1965 and Daytona State College in 1968, both in Daytona Beach, Florida. Ms. Eaddy had a long and fulfilling career at the Dental School of the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), retiring in 2008. She was a devout Catholic of the Byzantine Rite. Known for her fierce independence, she loved the Miami Dolphins and enjoyed the ocean, boating, and fishing. Additionally, she dedicated much of her time to spaying, neutering, and caring for the local feral cat population.
Pat's family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Cooper River Post Acute for the exceptional care they provided, along with the State of South Carolina. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Cortlandt, New York, where she will be laid to rest.
